An excellent organic grocery market and public library right across the street, yoga next door, a multitude of good restaurants (new ones opening all the time); walk to banks, shops, and parks. Walk either along Main Street or the lovely walkway beside the estuary. I love our apartment with its 11 ft ceilings, exposed beams, granite and brick walls and wood floors...best of all, the water views from every single one of the 9 oversized windows. Imagine viewing seals, bald eagles, cormorants, egrets, Great Blue Herons, sea turtles and ospreys right below my own window. When I leave the 1830's granite building I can also walk to the Great Bay, the Heron Point Conservancy or the Nature Conservancy and the Sweet Trail...all just a few minutes from my door. I can also turn the key, lock the door and travel anywhere. Amtrak to Boston or Maine; one hour to Logan Airport, 45 minutes to Manchester Airport, drive or use the C&J bus service direct to my airport terminal. I also enjoy the sense of community in my building; all ages live here. This is a beautiful place and "the living is easy."
