The owners did a lot of customization that was above and beyond the standard offering when they purchased the house. The house is brick all the way around the first level of the house, including the turned garage. They added a fireplace in the den and one in the living room. The entire house has hardwood both on the first and second floors. All of the doors and closets are solid fir wood, raised panel or louvered doors on the closets. The trim casing on the entire house is feathered edge colonial instead of the standard clamshell. In addition they installed all double hung windows throughout the house where the standard home came with aluminum casement windows on the sides and back. In the basement, the entire floor area is available where the standard house was given a crawl space below the den and sometimes under a part of the living room depending on the site. In this style house it was highly unusual to dig a full basement under all living structures. The house has been completely re-insulated with insulation blown into the brick wall cavities while the upper floor has a full cavity fill of rolled insulation with 3/4" foam board installed underneath the siding. The attics are triple insulated up to about R-40, 0r bout 18" of fiberglass roll material. The staircase cavity is filled and the wall between the garage and main house is also insulated. The garage floor was replaced about 10 years ago with a thicker pad and premium reinforcing. Many home with original floors are only about 2 inches thick while they put in a 6-8 inch pad. The entire property is fenced in the back with vinyl fencing used where neighboring owners had not previously erected a fence (back line). The sewer feeds from the house have been replaced to the front sewer hookup (an $8000 job). The HVAC system has been serviced by Horizon since being installed and is a top line model. The front and sidewalks were replaced and lined in brick. The driveway is a recent repaving as well. They kept meticulous care of their house and were not shy to spend money on quality materials and good work. The gutters are new and are of the helmeted variety which are nearly maintenance free. The property encases an old-growth wooded area which adds to privacy and a plethora of birds and other wildlife. It has been maintained by arborists to ensure all tall trees are safe and healthy. Great location in desirable North Wilmington. Easy access to Rt.202 and I-95. Immediate occupancy!…  More Less
