Cute and cozy describe this home where our family of four has lived for the last 5 1/2 years. Enter through a bright sun room that, with a space heater, we use during three seasons for a homeschool classroom and sometimes as an entertaining space. The living room is small (9x13) but pleasant with a hardwood floor that we had refinished when we moved in. Off of that is the kid's bedroom for our two children, for which is has been more than ample at 8x11 plus a big closet and built in bookshelf. The eat-in kitchen is a generous 14x14 and the tiled bathroom with linen closet adjoins it. Passing by the cellar door on the right (also accessible by bulkhead) and big storage shelf on the left, you enter the newly renovated master bedroom, 13.5 x 15.5, with wide pine floors and closet organizer. If we didn't have children, I would probably put the bedroom in their room, make this big room a living room, and make the living room into a dining room/library. But that's just me! Out back is a barn and there is a garage (of sorts--I wouldn't get too excited about that feature...) You probably want to know about it's imperfections--well, the paint, at this date, needs touching up all over. There is only a tub, no shower. The kid's room needs a door frame. The AC doesn't work. The roof over the bedroom is not pitched steeply enough. I still think it's a great little house!…  More Less What I love about the homeI love the coziness and brightness of our home. Being on one level has really been great with kids; I can hear them from everywhere. When they were really small, they played in the kitchen while I worked within sight of them in the bedroom. I love the rural setting. Our neighbors are great people with a convenient farmstand right across the road! They also have a sugar house that they fire up in March. At the end of Moose Mountain Road is a trail that has a nice little hike up to Mountain Lake. Snowmobile trails are conveniently close, too. Our house is close to adorable Sanbornville, which, with it's post office, gas station, bank, grocery store, handful of restaurants and shops, and library has everything you really need. We are very close to Lovell Lake, great place to take our kids and usually not too crowded, near Lake Wentworth, and not far from Winnipesaukee, about an hour from the White Mountains and maybe an hour and a half at most from the ocean. We hate to think about leaving it, but we find we are too far from family and work. However, we would be happy to stay here, too!
